Life’s Little Luxuries: La Dolce Vita with Italian Gelato

It started with the first “Life’s Little Luxuries” post. Seems like I’ve been thinking about many things, especially about those little luxuries. In this harried and busy world full of deadlines and endless to-do list we forget quite often how important it is to stop for a moment and refresh the mind. And that’s why I focus on enjoying decadent moments of my life.

It was a very very hot day. So me and my friend dressed from head to toe in a label called joy were turning the ordinary into the extra-ordinary while having some (super delicious by the way) italian gelato.

Simple luxuries bring beauty and joy.

Elegance is when the inside is as beautiful as the outside

Gelato tastes a lot like ice cream, but it’s just better for some reason

Life is too short. Get the double scoop.

La Dolce Vita

La Dolce Vita II. This woman definitely knows how to indulge herself.

I always ask the people that I photograph to behave like I’m not there. Now I can see that’s easier said than done.

Thanks for stopping by!

About terissmile

Teresa is the name. I was born in the Czech Republic, but since I always leave a piece of my heart in every place I had chance to live for a while, I feel more like a child of the world. It all started with moments which had a huge impact on my emotional level and on myself as well. Moments seemingly ordinary and insignificant from the common point of view, more specifically emotions written in human faces. I started chasing those candid ephemeral moments that are there only for a second and then they are gone and lost forever - be it loneliness, fear, anxiety, astonishment, joy, love, disappointment, loss... But it´s all real. Real emotions of real people. I do not follow any rules in particular, the only thing I insist on is honesty and genuineness that help me to add life to possibly every shot I take. Since minimalism is my way, I try to keep them as minimalist as possible. That is how I create my world. Take a look if you like.

  2. Like Mara says: gorgeous models. It’s impossible (for me) to act like the photographer isn’t there. I freeze in front of the camera and I’m definitely not a professional model!
